Martin is the President and Senior Investment Advisor Representative of Oak Tree Wealth Management; LLC. He has acquired 24 years of Investment Advisor experience. Martin earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from McMurry University and a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina. He has also studied various doctoral studies classes from George Washington University and Texas A&M University. He has completed the Series 6, 63, 65 and 24 exams. He currently holds the General Lines Agent-Life, Accident, Health and HMO license from the Texas Department of Insurance and the Retirement Income Certified Professional designation (RICP®) from The American College of Financial Services.
Martin began his career in the Financial Services Industry with First Command Financial Planning, Inc.; as an agent from 1999 to 2003, Registered Representative from 2007 to 2012, and Investment Advisor Representative from 2007 to 2012. Registered Representative with Warren Financial Services, LLC; from 01/2012 to 06/2012, and has been a sole proprietor Insurance Agent since 2004.
Prior to his career in the Financial Services Industry, Martin enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1977 where he retired as Major in 1999. He served as State Certified Principal at Most Precious Blood Catholic School from 2003-2007.
